Im merely 16 and i know a little bit more or less the programs on my computer i am running windows vista and i have need of to know what a printer spooler is.
What is a printer spooler?
Spool is supposedly an acronym for simultaneous peripheral operation on-line
The most common spooling application is print spooling. In print spooling, documents are loaded into a buffer (usually an nouns on a disk), and then the printer pulls them bad the buffer at its own rate. Because the documents are in a buffer where on earth they can be accessed by the printer, the user is free to get something done other operations on the computer while the printing take place in the conditions. Spooling also lets users place a few print jobs within a queue instead of waiting for each one to finish beforehand specifying the next one.
It's software (usually) that allows you to dispatch several print requests to the printer. It will queue them up and manage their printing. Using the spooler, you don't enjoy to wait for one document to compete formerly printing the next.
