What does ppm penny-pinching in connection with a printer?

I'm shopping for a investigational printer. What is the minimum ppm for B&W and/or color printers that will result in conceivably good ability? Seems to be a big difference in price as ppm # increases. Thank you

Pages per minute...anything above 10 is good. It's more meaningful to look at DPI which is dots per inch under the resolution setting for the printer. You want at smallest 1200x1200 DPI to get honourable quality.....

i think lauren get the bestexplanation on this ppm and dpi, you try to buy a canon or hp laser printer it cost more today but it will save you deeply tommorow
Pages per minute in black and white deed. Usually a different ppm for color or pictures (much lower).
