What Equipment is required to print on printable CD/DVD's?

I own seen that partially of the writable CD/DVD's on sale at Wal-Mart and other places own gone to the "printable" type. Are you required to purchase a new printer specially made for CD's? If so, where on earth do you purchase that at? I wander around the electronics cubicle of these same department stores all the time and never see any type of printer for CD's. Someone please afford me some insight to these new CD's!

My printer will print on cd's, you do entail one that can. It comes with a special attachment that the cd fits into. I bought it at Staples, but you can win one anywhere.

Mine's the Epson Stylus PHOTO R300, but there are others. You purely have to be sure to look for that freature when shopping for the printer.
you dont enjoy to buy a new printer for labelling your cds.ask for a cd drive(burner) that have 'lightscribe' feature on it. LIGHTSCRIBE is a current technology that allows you to use a cd or dvd burner for printing labels on your blank cds.after u own copied files to the cds, go ahead and invert the cd within the drive and you can use the lightscribe feature to design and burn label.
A Lite Scribe DVD drive, Lite Scribe discs, I have be very disappointed beside it. The printing is dim and not colorful. I like printing a sign and sticking it on better.
