My Hewlett Packard, D135 department jet, is experiencing chronic, black, print-head fiasco. The original print-head, and the first replacement, last about eighteen months respectively. The following two replacements, lasted a couple of weeks respectively.
What cause, chronic, premature, print-head, disappointment, on an ink-jet printer?
The most common lead to is from using remanufactured ink cartridges.
HP and a few other huge companies go through several purification processes that almost wipe out any impurities that may be contained by the ink. Remanufactured ink cartridges are cheaper, but are full of impurities that can confidently clog your printhead.
Lack of use, not running print head cleanings or running the printer near an empty videotape will burn out the print head prematurely.
(for the first poster, almost adjectives HP black ink is a pigment, for the purpose of longevity and depth of print. Pigmented ink is also of higher feature and more expensive and not often used surrounded by remans)
How many page do you print a day and are you printing large graphics?
