Have a rubbish printer at the moment ($60 job). Want to know how to print convincing cd labels. Need to look flawless. What do I need hardware/software erudite?
After recommendations on printers, disc application kits etc. Just want to be capable of produce a CD sticky label indistinguishable from the real point (don't worry its adjectives harmless, a short time ago my music collection!)
Can I achieve this for beneath lb100 ($196)?
What do I want for worthy compact disc sign printing?
Not without a thermal color printer that prints directly on the medium.
(the B & W ones are most affordable)

Many companies own printers that print directly on the CD/DVDs, I have see the results and they were awfully professional. No labels, printed freshly like the commercial stock. cheaper and easier.
"Indistinguishable from the TRUE thing"? Really tough. To do so you would need to first scan the resourceful CD's label next to a good competence color scanner, and then you would involve software to lay the image from the scan onto a compact disc label template. Finally you would next need to print the finished disc with a obedient quality inkjet printer. All components are at hand, but I don't think that you'll know how to stay within your stated budget.
