What does transformation the directories imply?

I am have trouble installing an old printer driver: what does directories imply in the folllowing (add printer setup):

9. Change the directiries to NT40 (I know thats windows NT, im using xp, does that business?)

10. Click ok button

What does transformation the directories imply?

Directory is simply the name of a directory or subdirectory? example: You enjoy a directory named my documents and you will enjoy a directory named my pictures lower than that. If you need to create a directory, click on profile then different directory.
